  • New NCVA Clubs for the 2016-2017 Season.
  • Club Teams that have not participated in the California Kickoff in the past two years.

Venue Information

San Jose Convention Center

San Jose Convention Center

  • The San Jose Convention Center will not allow teams to “camp” in the front, sides or balconies of the convention center.
  • Tents and tables will not be permitted anywhere on the premises. Outside food is not allowed in the center or on the premises.
  • Chairs and blankets will be allowed inside on the concourse.
  • No coolers or outside food are allowed in the San Jose Convention Center. There will be SJCC security on-site enforcing this policy.
  • Order Sandwiches ahead of time for your team. Contact San Jose CC Staff
  • NO COOKING OR HEATING DEVICES WILL BE ALLOWED.
  • There is no outside food and beverage or camping allowed anywhere on the Convention Center premises, including the outdoor plaza.
  • We will have security stationed on the parkway, as well as roaming throughout the convention center.

  • Park in the east lot entrance – 1346 Saratoga Avenue, San Mateo, Ca 94403
  • They offer a wide variety of healthy food and drink choices which include Chicken Caesar Salads, Fresh Made Sandwiches, Fresh Cut Fruit Bowls, Yogurts, Danishes, Juices, Powerade/Gatorade and Milk

Santa Clara Convention Center

  • No outside food or beverages inside the facility. Water will be allowed when carried individually, not in a cooler.
  • No ice chests, coolers, soft sided coolers, small coolers or large coolers will be allowed inside.
  • No canopies, tents or BBQs allowed in the parking structure
  • No parking in Great America Parking Lot
  • No tailgating allowed in parking lot or on premises
  • Tents and tables will not be permitted anywhere on the premises. Outside food is not allowed in the center or on the premises.
  • Chairs and blankets will be allowed inside on the concourse.

Schedule

The entire tournament schedule and program will be posted online. Be sure to check the website just before departing for any last minute format changes due to teams being dropped or added. If you would like printed copies of the format or schedule, please take the time to print these off from home. The NCVA will not be providing printed materials at the tournament in our effort to Go Green!

Tournament Check-In

All coaches are required to check-in prior to the beginning of play at the tournament.

Check-In for the tournament will be as follows:
Saturday, January 14, 2017
AM Wave: between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM
PM Wave: between 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM

All coaches are required to carry their signed players’ Medical Release Forms with them at all times during the tournament. You do not need to submit these forms to the NCVA at Check-In. You may be asked to present these forms at any time during the event.

San Jose Convention Center: in the lobby on the second floor in front of the main entrance.

San Mateo Event Center: inside the event center toward the back wall.

Coaches Meeting

There will not be a coaches meeting. However, there will be qualified Tournament Directors on hand to answer any and all questions you may have.
