The entire tournament schedule and program will be posted online. Be sure to check the website just before departing for any last minute format changes due to teams being dropped or added. If you would like printed copies of the format or schedule, please take the time to print these off from home. The NCVA will not provide printed materials at the tournament in our effort to Go Green!

Entry Fees

Entry Fee: $950 for all age divisions


Registration deadline: January 27, 2017

Teams will be accepted after the deadline, if space is available, with an entry fee of $1050

The 2017 Girls’ Golden State Qualifier is a three-day event, March 3-4-5, 2017. All available ticket options are listed below.

All family, friends, and fans of all teams must register; no one may enter the playing area without an Entry Wristband.

Players (All players listed on roster) and Coaches (5 max) will receive an Entry Wristband as part of their Team registration during check-in.

Team registration (Check-in) is open Thursday, March 2 (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM).

Guest registration is open Thursday, March 2 (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM), as well as each day of the tournament (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM).

Guests may pick up Entry Wristbands purchased online at the WILL CALL booth at Gate 5.

Three-day ticket:

$20.00 if purchased online by 9:00 PM on March 2, 2017

$25.00 if purchased online by 11:59 PM on March 3, 2017

$30.00 if purchased online starting at 12:01 AM on March 3, 2017 or on-site

Two-day ticket:

$15.00 if purchased online by 9:00 PM on March 2, 2017

$20.00 if purchased online by 11:59 PM on March 3, 2017

$25.00 if purchased online starting at 12:01 AM on March 3, 2017 or on-site

One-day ticket:

$10.00 if purchased online by 9:00 PM on March 2, 2017

$15.00 if purchased online by 11:59 PM on March 3, 2017

Discounted Tickets:

Children, 12 and under: Free

Seniors (65 and over), Military, Police, Fire: $5.00 per day

College Coaches: Free

Attendees must present applicable identification for above discounts.

Discounted tickets are only available at the door.

THERE ARE NO REFUNDS for Entry Wristbands. REPLACEMENT for lost, stolen, or forgotten wristbands for Guests, Players, or Coaches requires payment of a fee for a new Entry Wristband at the currently available price.

Tournament Hotels

Your team will not be accepted into the tournament without submitting the required hotel form. Please be sure to submit this form once you have booked and confirmed your hotel reservations.

Tournament Check-In

All coaches are required to check-in prior to the beginning of play at the tournament.

Check-In for the tournament will be on Thursday, March 2, 2017 (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM)

18 American (PM Wave) Only: Friday, March 2, 2017 (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)

All coaches are required to carry their signed players’ Medical Release Forms with them at all times during the tournament. You do not need to submit these forms to the NCVA at Check-In. You may be asked to present these forms at any time during the event.

ALL COACHES must have a current Safesport certification. See Coaches Requirements (below) for more information.

Coaches' Requirements

ALL coaches listed on the Official Roster (Head and Assistant coaches) must have the following items:

  1. A current background screen via WebPoint
  2. A current Safesport certification
  3. An IMPACT coaching certification, at a minimum (CAP I, II, III counts as well)

Coaches Meeting

There will not be a coaches meeting. However, there will be qualified Tournament Directors on hand to answer any and all questions you may have.

Coolers and Food

No coolers or outside food are allowed in the San Mateo Event Center. There will be security on-site enforcing this policy.

This is a site requirement so please pass this information on to your team parents who are traveling to the tournament.

It is highly recommended that you do not leave your belongings unattended. Leaving any items unattended at the tournament is done at your own risk. The NCVA and/or the Convention Centers are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please plan accordingly.
