We understand that there is inclement weather predicted for this weekend. We are recommending that everyone pay close attention to the weather service reports and adjust travel accordingly.
We understand that Hwy 80 is closed. Hwy 50 has remained open and our staff has used this route to travel safely to Reno.
We have gathered a few links below to help you prepare for the storm.
We will have tables and chairs inside at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center for teams to setup inside. No outside food will be allowed but you will be out of the weather between matches.

COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION ONLINE; PICK UP YOUR WRISTBANDS AT THE WILL CALL WINDOW.
All family, friends, and fans of all teams must register; no one may enter the playing area without a Guest Wristband.
Players will receive a bag tag and Coaches will receive a Wristband as part of their Team registration during check-in.
Guests may pick up Guest Wristbands purchased online at the WILL CALL booth at the main entrance.

There are no refunds after January 25, 2019
No coolers or outside food are allowed in the San Mateo Event Center. There will be security on-site enforcing this policy.
This is a site requirement so please pass this information on to your team parents who are traveling to the tournament.
It is highly recommended that you do not leave your belongings unattended. Leaving any items unattended at the tournament is done at your own risk. The NCVA and/or the Convention Centers are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please plan accordingly.

Practice courts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Golden State Qualifier is a USA Volleyball sanctioned event. By entering the facility, all spectators agree to abide by the following Spectator Code of Conduct as required by USA Volleyball. Spectators also understand that injury from flying objects incidental to the sport of volleyball may occur at this event and attend at their own risk. Be alert at all times, especially during active play. Children not participating on a team entered in the event must be under the supervision of their parents at all times. The venue is not to be considered an open play area. Open courts and free space within the facility are not designated or designed for general child-play activities and should be used for event related activities only.
