Fee Analysis / Cost Break Down

What does it cost to play in the NCVA?

In the interest of being as open as possible, the NCVA publishes a cost break down so that participants can clearly understand the total cost for a team to play in an NCVA League and at NCVA Special Events (e.g. Far Westerns, Presidents Day, etc.)

Memberships

The membership fees paid to play in the NCVA ($75.00) includes a required USA Volleyball Membership. The NCVA Membership portion is $50.00, the USA Volleyball Membership is $25.00.

Full NCVA Memberships are valid for one year and allow an athlete to participate in as many tryouts as they like, compete in a league such as Power League or Premier League, compete in any of our special tournaments and compete in our Summer League.

League Play

Clubs pay a fee per team to play in an NCVA League - the fee is $1600.00 per team for Power League and $1200.00 per team for Premier League. This fee pays for facility rentals, insurance and officiating for the entire league season.

Special Events

If a Club chooses to play in an NCVA Special Event (such as Far Westerns), the Club pays a tournament fee for each team to play in the event. As with the fee to play in an NCVA League, the Special Event fee pays for facility rentals, insurance and officiating for that event.

At the NCVA we want athletes from all backgrounds and skill levels to be able to participate in this great sport. With that goal firmly in mind, the NCVA works hard to keep its costs low and provide a range of programs at different skill levels. Looking at the cost breakdowns below, you will see that it is as low as $25.24 or $21.34 per day of competition for an athlete to play in one of our leagues. To compete in a Special Event, such as Far Westerns, it is a low as $21.66 per day for an athlete athlete to compete.

If your athlete plays in a full season - e.g. Power League, and several Special Events like Presidents Day, Golden State Classic and Far Westerns, the cost per day of competition for an athlete is as low as $18.00.
