Junior Memberships
Are you turning 18 this Season?
Per USAV’s policies, any member who will turn 18 before the end of the season (6/30/2025) will register for the 18s player membership because they will need to take SafeSport during the season. However, the member is still eligible for the 17U age division.

Tryouts/Clinic
Tryout Pass
If your athlete has a full membership from the 2023-2024 season which expires on August 31, 2024, you do not need to purchase an additional tryout pass to attend tryouts in July or August. Tryout passes are eligible for upgrades to the full 2024-2025 season memberships.

(If you are not a Club Director or Club Admin, do not complete this form)
All Clubs, new and returning, must complete the SportsEngine Club Registration/ Sanctioning Form for the 2024-2025 Season.
- This must be done each season to comply with the Governing Seasons within SportsEngine. This will also be how email communications are sent out to your club.
- This is to be completed by the Club Director or Club Admin ONLY.

Allows officials to officiate at NCVA and USAV sanctioned events.

- Junior male athletes who are 18 years old and under participating in any volleyball tryouts.
- If you have a membership from the 2022-2023 season which expires August 31, 2023, you DO NOT need to purchase this Tryout Pass.
- This tryout pass is eligible to upgrade on September 1 to a full season membership for the upcoming season.
17 Year Old & Under BOYS FULL Membership — $75 (NCVA $50 + USAV $25)
Available 08/11/2023: Valid 09/01/2023 – Expires 8/31/2024
- Junior male athletes who are 17 years old and under participating in any volleyball activities until September 1, 2024.

Youth League Memberships
Junior FALL YOUTH LEAGUE Membership — $120
Available 09/30/2021 – expires 12/31/2021
- Junior athletes, male or female, who are participating in the Fall Youth League Program.
- If your athlete is participating in the Power League or Premier League Programs, please purchase the regular Junior Membership for $70, do not purchase this $120 Youth League Membership.
Junior SPRING YOUTH LEAGUE Membership — $120
Available 11/17/2021 – expires 04/16/2022
- Junior athletes, male or female, who are participating in the Spring Youth League Program.
- If your athlete is participating in the Power League or Premier League Programs, please purchase the regular Junior Membership for $70, do not purchase this $120 Youth League Membership.
Junior Athlete Coach Memberships (for coaches who are minors)
NCVA Junior AGED Coach Membership — $75 (NCVA $50 + USAV $25)

- This membership is for a minor, 17 years old and under or turning 18 by 8/31/2024, who is participating as a COACH. If you are already 18 years old and above, then you must purchase the membership named NCVA Adult Affiliated with a Junior Program.

Important Information Regarding Membership Refunds
Please read each membership’s details before purchasing, once a membership is processed, it is NON-REFUNDABLE, NON-TRANSFERABLE. (Please be aware that duplicate and accidentally purchased memberships are also NON-REFUNDABLE.) If you have a question about the proper membership to purchase, please contact NCVA staff before making your purchase.
NCVA Adult Athlete Membership
Available 02/20/2024 – expires 7/31/2024
- This membership is good for one Adult Athlete above the age of 18 who is participating in any adult tournaments held by the NCVA (Indoor and Outdoor). If you are a coach or a player under 18, DO NOT purchase this membership.
NCVA Adult Open Nationals *ONLY PURCHASE THIS MEMBERSHIP IF YOU'RE PLAYING AT THE USAV OPEN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP*
Available 02/20/2024 – expires 7/31/2024
- This membership is good for one Adult Athlete above the age of 18 who is participating in the USAV Open National Championship. If you are a coach or player under 18, DO NOT purchase this membership.
NCVA Adult TRYOUT PASS — $35
Available 07/26/2023/2022 – expires 11/30/2023
- This membership is for Adults (18+) that are attending Junior Tryouts as a Coach, Club Director, or Club Admin (any adult attending a tryout to help out needs a membership).
- Requires a yearly $14 background check.
- Requires SafeSport Certification.
- This tryout pass is eligible to upgrade to a full season membership for the 2023-2024 season, starting September 1.
NCVA Adult Affiliated with a Junior Program — $75 (NCVA $50 + USAV $25)
Available to purchase 08/11/2023: Valid 09/01/2023 – Expires 8/31/2024
- All adults affiliated with a Junior Program in any capacity (coaches, directors, managers, trainers, board members, etc.).
- Requires a yearly $14 background check (not included in NCVA/USAV membership pricing).
- Requires SafeSport Certification.

- This membership is for NCVA Officials/Referees who are NOT participating as a Coach or as an Athlete for any club during the season.
- Requires a yearly $14 background check (not included in NCVA/USAV membership pricing).
